Android Pay now works with Chase Bank cards, will soon work on the mobile web, too

Google has announced a couple of notable updates to its Android Pay mobile payments service today. Last May, the internet giant launched its Apple Pay competitor in the U.S., letting users pay for goods in physical retail stores by associating their MasterCard or Visa with their device and then swiping the device against a contactless terminal at the point of sale. It can also be used to pay for things within third-party apps. Google has since expanded Android Pay to the U.K., Australia, and Singapore.
