Restaurant chain Subway has selected Adyen to enable simpler payments for its customers in-restaurant, online and the Subway App in North America.
Adyen payments platform will also be available for Subway franchise owners.
The payments platform enables addition of new restaurants, markets or regions, as well as automatic franchisee on-boarding. It also comes with reconciliation of multiple payment methods, refunds and terminal fleet management.
Subway chief information officer Mike Macrie said: “As we continue our digital push to offer our guests greater convenience and more options, Adyen’s payment platform will further allow Subway to bring the latest digital payment technologies to market, while removing operational complexities for our franchise owners.”
Last month, McDonald’s selected Adyen for mobile payments in all its worldwide markets. The service is set to initially launch in the UK this year.
