Marissa Charles, Digital Marketing Manager, is committed to bridging the gap between data and design. Since joining The Strawhecker Group in 2019, she has worked closely with each line of business to amplify TSG’s brand image and craft content that spans global audiences. Recently, she has been most passionate about working with journalists to deliver TSG’s unique data across various media outlets, such as The Wall Street Journal, PaymentsDive, Marketplace, The Paypers, and many more.
Relentlessly passionate about all things digital, Marissa is known for wearing many hats and has a unique adoration for the ever-evolving marketing space. She uses her business education and knowledge of marketing to assist the firm in various efforts, including email marketing, brand awareness through social media, graphic/animated design, media relations, search engine marketing (SEM), and market research. As an experienced content creator, Marissa has built marketing materials such as infographics, videos, and ad campaigns for some of the most recognized players in the payments space through TSG’s BrandInfluence services.
Marissa is a proud alumn of the University of Nebraska – Omaha (UNO), where she graduated with honors and received her BSBA degree with a concentration in Marketing. During her time at university, she worked with several Omaha-based businesses to hone their marketing strategies, cementing both her love for her community and helping local businesses thrive. Still an avid learner, you can catch her attending just about any marketing conference she can find.
When she isn’t at the office, you can find Marissa trying and creating new recipes, (slowly) renovating her home with her S.O., or binging the latest horror series with her Maine Coon, Taz.
